EAGE Student Lecture Tours

Since 2005, EAGE has reached out to the student community with the EAGE Student Lecture Tour (SLT). The SLT offers EAGE the opportunity to further integrate into the Geoscience and Engineering student communities as well as identify to students that EAGE is a support source for their career development.

How the SLT works

The SLT invites Geoscience experts to give half day presentations on a current Earth Science topic to students from different disciplines and levels. EAGE then invites local Universities to host the event in their region.

The tour currently is organized in Europe, the Middle East, Russia/CIS and for the first time ever in North Africa. The European SLT visits roughly 50 locations and the SLT in the Middle East visits 12+ locations, SLT Russia/CIS visits 20+ locations and the SLT North Africa consists of approximately 10+ locations.
